    ABOUT THE COMPANY

    The Bible Society of Nigeria is a member of the United Bible Societies (UBS), a global fellowship of Non-Denominational Christian organization whose primary mission involves translating the Holy Scriptures into languages people can read and understand as well as production and distribution of the scriptures in various forms to meet the different needs of people. It also organizes life transforming programmes to engage people with the scriptures and raising of funds for its activities.

    JOB SUMMARY

    ND in Computer Science or related study.Experience:Minimum of proven 2–5 years of working experience as a System Administrator,Network Administrator, or similar rolePossession of relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage (MSCA, CCNA, etc)Person Specification:Good working knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365 AdministrationExperience in troubleshooting and repairs of Servers, workstations, printers, scanners, and other accessories.ERP Support: Sage Accounting Software and Low-code (SharePoint/PowerApps) Apps desiredExperience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recoverySocial Media savvy, Graphics, Video and Digital Marketing skills are a plusFamiliarity with various operating systems and platformsHe or She must be resourceful and possess a good problem-solving skillHe or She must have Excellent communication skills.He or She should be trainable.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Install and configure software and hardwareManage network servers and technology toolsSet up accounts and workstationsMonitor performance and maintain systems according to requirementsTroubleshoot issues and outagesEnsure security through access controls, backups and firewallsUpgrade systems with new releases and modelsProvide technical support on all BSN Apps (Sage, Human Manager, RoomMaster, SharePoint, etc.).Provide technical support for BSN web-based applicationProvide technical support to computer users in BSN PAN NigeriaCarryout Monthly system maintenanceInstall network and computer systemMaintain, repair and upgrade the operating system, including hardware and softwareMonitor the performance of existing computer systems and IT infrastructuresAssist in Digital marketing.In addition to the above, he/she may be assigned other tasks by the supervisor as and when these tasks arise.
