    Description

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development of an enterprise stakeholder engagement plan and facilitate their alignment with development opportunities in the business plan.
    • Lead the implementation of the stakeholder engagement plans including the planning and execution of stakeholder events, correspondence, creation of appropriate documentation and the recording and analysis of feedback.
    • Support the initiation and coordination of strategic relationships and partnerships with relevant stakeholders to deliver the company's development programs.
    • Provide advice with regard to stakeholder requirements for Axxela's strategic plan development, stakeholder engagement, and program implementation, to engender support and provide clear information to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Support relevant teams opportunity maturation, operations, etc. to deliver gas and power opportunities.
    • Preparation of written briefings, reports, submissions, and correspondence to relevant stakeholders Federal and State governments, Communities, Ministries, Parastatals, and Agencies
    • Act as liaison for different internal teams and external stakeholders ensuring consistency and accuracy of communications and alignment with advice of any relevant committees and working groups.
    • Interface and manage relationships with Axxela's core business partners to ensure the alignment of business interests.
    • Builds networks throughout the gas and power industry and with cluster and government agencies.

    Essential Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Political/Social Science, Law or other related fields
    • Minimum of seven 7 years cognate work experience, spanning government relations, strategy and/or business development
    • Good knowledge of the Oil & Gas and Power sectors
    • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Oil & Gas and Power regulations
    • Knowledge of government processes at the federal, state, and local levels
    • Ability to read, understand, and interpret a variety of detailed legislation and regulation documents
    • Possess good network at all levels of government agencies and parastatals
    • Public relations experience
