Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and creative Chef to join our team. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead a team to success.

Responsibilities:

Plan and develop innovative menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers.
Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving kitchen efficiency and profitability.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings.
Handle customer inquiries and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

3+ proven years of experience as a Chef, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
