Job Summary

As an IT Support Officer Electrical Wiring, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical wiring systems within our IT infrastructure.
You will collaborate closely with our IT team to maintain and troubleshoot electrical connections, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain electrical wiring systems for IT equipment, including servers, switches, and other network devices.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical wiring to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
Collaborate with IT technicians to ensure proper integration of electrical wiring with network infrastructure.
Provide technical support to end-users regarding electrical connectivity issues.
Assist in the planning and implementation of electrical wiring projects to support business initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to electrical wiring and IT infrastructure.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in electrical wiring installation and maintenance, preferably in an IT environment.
Strong understanding of electrical principles and regulations.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Relevant certifications e.g., Certified Electrical Technician are a plus.
