Modern Trade Merchandiser - lagos, Nigeria - Graceco Limited
Description
We are sourcing for competent and result-driven sales merchandisers to cover Ajah, Lekki areas of Lagos.The role of the Merchandiser is to ensure that the shelves of the retail stores are stocked with products and display them accordingly for customers.
Merchandisers are responsible for tracking the product inventory levels, and report any issues of expiry or shortages to management.Collaborate with the store account officer/contact person to raise new orders and follow up with payments.
Monitor Sales Activities of all products during visitation to a store and the stock level should be checked.
Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately on the shelves and dump bins.
Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs of competitors.
Build constructive customer relationships
Familiarity with operations of key stores like Justrite, JENDOL, Grocery Bazaar etc
Qualifications
HND/ BSC in Business Management, Marketing and related fields
1-2 years experience
Must understand basic Microsoft skills including Excel.
Strong communication and negotiation skills
