    ABOUT THE COMPANY

    Sabi is a category agnostic B2B network for informal trade focused on accelerating the velocity of commerce by enabling stakeholders in the informal sector to access and offer value amongst each other.

    We work to understand the individual needs of merchants by engaging them through different channels before connecting them to whichever service(s) that best helps them grow their business.
    This could mean ensuring a great assortment of low priced goods is available to them, providing a way for them to manage inventory, or facilitating finance.

    Our aim is to understand the informal economy better than anyone and help them grow in ways they haven't before

    JOB SUMMARY

    Special Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Social Sciences, or related field. Minimum of 6 years Distributor account management experience within the FMCG sector Strong negotiation, vendor management and customer service skills and knowledge Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making. Street smart and with a drive for sales High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency. Evidence of successfully leading others to exceed measurable revenue targets.Candidate Specification: Motivated by the mission of Sabi Pragmatic with quantitative and analytical ability and attention to detail Driven, independent thinker and leader who can juggle multiple projects simultaneously with fast-changing priorities High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency. A focus on execution. Willing and able to get hands dirty. Flexibility to roll up your sleeves and attack problems and projects as they arise, where you will need to set out a clear structure, method and outcomes yourself.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Distributor Account Manager would be responsible for managing distributors on our platform. From onboarding the distributors to managing the account of distributors. You will be responsible for building and maintaining direct relationships with distributors, ensuring SLAs for order fulfillment is met, negotiation of prices, increased acceptance rate, assortment etc. to maintain value and growth of the business.What you will be doing Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributor accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all their needs and inquiries. Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with distributors, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships and maximizing profitability for the company. Ensure SLA for order fulfillment is met. Negotiate pricing terms with distributors to enhance profitability and boost our user acceptance rate. Reconcile distributor accounts and actively drive account growth initiatives. Oversee the order process, from placement to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet customer demands and maintain satisfaction. Ensure acceptance rate above 90%, and fulfillment rate of 80% Manage our product assortment process. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and logistics to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of distributor-related initiatives. Monitor distributor performance metrics and sales data, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
