- Identify prospective clients or markets for the hotel's offerings through research, networking, or other tactics.
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and market share.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for business expansion or enhancements in the hotel's offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in formulating strategic blueprints for the hotel, encompassing goal setting and action plans to foster business growth.
- Meet sales and revenue targets set by the management.
- Compile monthly reports on business development endeavours, encompassing sales data, potential market enlargement, and advancement toward business objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of business development strategies with the overarching organisational goals.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- An MBA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development roles.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ability to organise and complete multiple projects in an efficient and timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively interact with a diverse team of people and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to deal with a fast paced environment with changing work priorities.
- Multi-tasking and excellent prioritisation.
- Ability to think and plan strategically.
- Excellent relationship management.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of successful business development initiatives and revenue scaling.
