• Financial Reporting

o Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

o Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data and ensure accuracy of reported information.
o Perform variance analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
o Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
o Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
o Develop and maintain financial reporting templates and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
o Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management

• Cost Management

o Providing financial leadership and Counsel on Cost Management to the Management team and Company Executives.
o Proper accounting of Business overheads (BOH)
o Evaluate investment proposals, New Product Introduction and other key financial decision for the business.
o Partner with the Sales team to meet business goals and mediate to resolve all finance related queries.

o Responsible for Standard Cost price calculations, product costing review and analysis, Price Variance analysis, Inventory Controls/Management, Landed Cost determination and Gross Margin analysis.

o Dealing with variations and the change control processes, negotiating with contractors.
o Conducting cost checks and valuations.
o Drafting monthly reports.
o Producing final accounts.
o Work with the Executives to cascade approved Group budget( Operating Expenditures and Capital Expenditures budgets.
o Deployment and execution of strategic cost containment initiatives group-wide.
o Monitoring and reporting on expense/cost lines group-wide.

• Tax Management

Accurately preparing and filing federal and state tax returns on time.
Developing tax strategies for Demmy Global being tax-compliant.
Identifying tax problems and developing solutions.
Completing responses and schedules in preparation for income tax audits.
Monitoring developments in tax legislation.
Reviewing tax returns.
Informing management and staff of developments in tax legislation.
Supervising tax team members to ensure that tax returns are completed correctly.
Building and maintaining relationships with the various tax authority.
