ABOUT THE COMPANY
The company started as a provider of site build services for mobile network operators in Nigeria, but has gone on to develop deep expertise in all aspects of telecom towers. Today, IHS and its subsidiaries in Nigeria manage over 16,500 sites. We operate from our head office in Lagos but have regional offices in Abuja, Ibadan, Enugu, Asaba, Kano and Port Harcourt.
We deliver innovative solutions to our customers, including making use of greenfield and rooftop sites, and developing rural telephony projects to connect the most remote communities in Nigeria. We operate two datacenters – in Lagos and Abuja – enabling us to support our Network Operating Centers with a high-quality IT infrastructure, robust security and a reliable network.
JOB SUMMARY
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline. +2 years' relevant work experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations:Receive diesel intervention approval and inform Procurement team of need to contact Site Maintenance Contractors (SMCs) to supply diesel. Notify Field Service Engineers (FSEs) to take delivery of diesel to site. Monitor and track diesel deliveries. Sign Final Acceptance Certificates and forward to HQ. Work with Central Diesel Planning (Operations) and Diesel Procurement Management (Supply Chain) to ensure diesel allocation reporting is accurate and complete. Assist the Regional Logistics Coordinator to ensure the right amount of diesel is supplied to sites. Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of signed diesel waybills as submitted by vendors and/ or FSEs. Prepare and submit diesel availability reports to the Regional Logistics Specialist. Manage relationships with partners and vendors. Perform other tasks and duties assigned by the Regional Logistics Specialis
