Job Overview:

As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of beverages to patrons in a friendly and efficient manner.

You will create a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to all legal regulations and company policies. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area will be essential to ensure a pleasant experience for customers.


Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
Interact with customers, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and legal regulations, including checking identification to verify legal drinking age.
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly, including processing payments and providing change.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed, ensuring availability of ingredients and garnishes.
Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for patrons, engaging in friendly conversation and providing excellent customer service.
Collaborate with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Attend training sessions and staff meetings to stay updated on new products, techniques, and company policies.
Handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact, including addressing customer complaints or concerns.


Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a bartender or in a similar role preferred.
Extensive knowledge of beverage recipes, mixing techniques, and garnishes.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating orders.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification in bartending or hospitality management may be advantageous.


Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Lift and carry heavy trays or cases of beverages.
Maneuver in tight spaces behind the bar.
Tolerate exposure to loud noises and crowded environments.
