Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of
the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs. Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt payment plans.
Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross- sell products and services to
accomplish quotas.
Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information.
Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them. Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions.
Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services.
Maintain and update account records.
Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans.
Οperate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines.
Ensure that all accounts opened and operated in the bank are in accordance with the Front Office
Account procedures, CBN & ABN Anti-laundry policies.
Working with borrowers to create repayment schedules that are feasible for them to meet.
Negotiating interest rates with banks and other lending institutions, taking into account factors such as term length, loan purposes and creditworthiness of the borrower.
Manage the branch deposit and loan portfolio.
