Hillary Chukwuemeka

I’m a Theatre Artist, Media practitioner, and Communication Specialist with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Degree in Theatre Arts from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria, and a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; and a Master of Arts (M.A) Degree in Theatre and Media Studies; specializing in Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) from University of Calabar, Nigeria. I have also undertaken certificate training on Project Set-Up, Project Monitoring, and Evaluation from the Last Mile Learning Institute U.S.A. I have completed other training courses in Business Writing, Team Management, Organizational Development, and Persuasive Communication among others. I have led projects and programs teams to raise funds through writing grants-winning proposals. I have worked with local and international NGOs and have undertaking development projects and consultancies in Nigeria and beyond. I currently work as the Media Campaign, Advocacy, and Communications Manager with the Wildlife Conservation Society Nigeria Program, an international environmental NGO based in Calabar Nigeria. I’m a creative person with strong hands-on experience in strategic communication and advocacy planning and implementation, policy formulation, program planning, and design. I also have good experience in project research, monitoring and evaluation, social branding and marketing, community mobilization, media program production, and behavior change communication. Having worked with several of media organizations, I have a good grasp of the Nigerian media landscape. I have also got great skills in stakeholder engagement and the use of the media for advocacy campaigns and with well over 10-year experience in project and program management, media content design, production, and mentoring, especially for advocacy projects. I am a skilled writer with abilities in technical writing, reporting, and editing as you would find in my CV. I’m a good writer and editor with skills in creating captivating stories. I’m very versatile with team management skills. I can develop new ideas and
