    Description

    Role Overview:

    • The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis- Agency plays a vital role in preparing the Agency Financials and ensuring that all Agency related KPIs and initiatives are followed through for the Kingdom in Nigeria.
    • The role is charged with analyzing financial information, to ensure compliance with Agency targets & initiatives and company policies.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Collecting and analyzing financial data, ensuring that all Agency company reporting complies with laid down KPIs, budgets and guidelines.
    • Perform data analysis and advise the business on ways to improve profit maximizing initiatives.
    • Ensuring that all the numbers and calculations in the Agency Ownership and Accountability Reporting file are accurate in all material respects.
    • Come up with plans and measurements aimed at ensuring sustained profitability of the Agency Business.
    • Review and report on all Agency initiatives in line with what has been agreed to in the Budget/Forecast for each financial year.
    • Perform Account reconciliations of the Agents Receivables and ensure that all Receivables are in line with laid down policies and principles.
    • Finance Gate Keeper of the Agency Business and ensuring all initiatives are measured correctly and accurately to give comfort to the Business.
    • Prepare annual Budgets and periodic forecasts of the Agency Business.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly budgetary control for the Agency Business.
    • Conduct cost/benefit and other types of analyses relating to Agency initiatives.
    • Any other Ad-hoc activities assigned by the CEO or CFO.

    What You Need for This Role:

    • Bachelor's degree in any numerate or Social Science course.
    • Professional qualification e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA is a must.
    • At least years' cognate experience in Telecoms, Banking, FMCG or relevant company.
    • Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of Corporate Finance will be an added advantage.
    • Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office at a very advanced level.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing with C-Level individuals.
    • Time and Priority Management Skills.
    • Sound understanding of Accounting Principles and relevant financial reporting standards FRC, IFRS.
