Job Summary
The Freelance Executive – Deposit Mobilization & Risk Asset Creation is responsible for sourcing and mobilizing deposits while generating quality risk assets (loans and credit facilities) for the organization. The role focuses on business development, client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue growth through innovative financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities1. Deposit Mobilization
- Source and mobilize savings, current, and fixed deposit accounts.
- Develop strategies to attract new deposit customers.
- Maintain and grow relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), SMEs, and corporate clients.
- Achieve assigned deposit targets within specified timelines.
2. Risk Asset Creation
- Identify and onboard qualified borrowers.
- Generate quality loan portfolios (retail, SME, or corporate loans).
- Conduct preliminary credit assessments and customer due diligence.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with credit policies.
- Monitor loan performance and support recovery efforts when necessary.
3. Business Development
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments.
- Promote the organization's financial products and services.
- Build referral networks and strategic partnerships.
- Organize client meetings, presentations, and financial advisory sessions.
4. Relationship Management
- Provide excellent customer service and financial guidance.
- Cross-sell banking and financial products.
- Maintain long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
5. Reporting & Compliance
- Submit regular performance and pipeline reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly/Quarterly deposit mobilization target.
- Risk asset (loan) volume and quality.
- Portfolio performance (low non-performing loans).
- Revenue generation and commission earned.
- Customer acquisition and retention rate.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in banking, microfinance, fintech, or financial services (preferred).
- Strong sales, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Good understanding of credit analysis and financial products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
