    Description

    Skills Required:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data, perform scenario analysis, and make data-driven decisions to manage risk effectively.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate future risks, identify opportunities, and develop proactive risk management strategies aligned with the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, prepare comprehensive risk reports, and facilitate risk workshops or meetings.
    • Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization to achieve risk management objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Risk Manager - CRM, Project Management Professional - PMP, Chartered Financial Analyst - CFA) may be preferred or advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, including exploration, drilling, production, reservoir management, and field development processes
    • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices related to health, safety, environment, and regulatory compliance (e.g., API standards, ISO 31000, OSHA regulations).
