Job RolesStudent Welfare:
Ensure the safety, well-being, and discipline of student-athletes living in the residency house.
Monitor and address any behavioral or social issues among the students.
Provide emotional support and counseling when needed.
Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere that fosters teamwork and camaraderie.
Residential Life Management:
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the residency house.
Assign and manage dormitory rooms, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance.
Oversee the meal schedule and nutritional needs of the student-athletes.
Coordinate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and well-organized daily routine.
Academic Support:
Encourage and monitor the academic progress of student-athletes, ensuring they balance their studies with their athletic commitments.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students who may require extra assistance.
Implement study hours or study groups to facilitate academic success.
Athletic Support:
Collaborate with coaches and trainers to ensure athletes' training and competition schedules are well-coordinated with their academic commitments.
Offer mentorship and guidance to athletes in their athletic pursuits.
Monitor and address any injuries or health concerns that may arise.
Communication:
Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians to update them on students' progress and well-being.
Communicate with school administrators, coaches, and teachers to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Emergency Preparedness:
Develop and implement emergency procedures for the residency house.
Conduct regular safety drills and ensure all necessary safety equipment is available and functional.
Role Model and Leadership:
Set a positive example for student-athletes in terms of behavior, discipline, and dedication.
Encourage and instill good values, sportsmanship, and ethical behavior in students.
Administrative Duties:
Keep records of student-athletes' attendance, behavior, and academic progress.
Prepare reports and provide feedback to school administrators on the residency house's activities and achievements.
