- The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within a private residence or commercial establishment. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning duties to ensure that living and working spaces are sanitary, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Change and launder linens and towels.
- Empty and clean trash containers.
- Clean kitchen appliances, countertops, and cabinets.
- Organize and tidy living areas, including bedrooms, living rooms, and dining areas.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to specific cleaning schedules and instructions provided by employers or supervisors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
