Description

Job Summary:

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within a private residence or commercial establishment. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning duties to ensure that living and working spaces are sanitary, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Change and launder linens and towels.
Empty and clean trash containers.
Clean kitchen appliances, countertops, and cabinets.
Organize and tidy living areas, including bedrooms, living rooms, and dining areas.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to specific cleaning schedules and instructions provided by employers or supervisors.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
Good communication skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
