- Cleaning and maintaining all rooms and living spaces within the household, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas.
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
- Laundering and ironing clothing, linens, and other household items as needed.
- Organizing and tidying up rooms and storage areas to maintain a neat and orderly environment.
- Assisting with meal preparation and clean-up as required.
- Grocery shopping and running errands as directed by the household manager or employer.
- Handling special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks on a periodic basis.
- Ensuring security and safety measures are followed at all times, including locking doors and windows, and reporting any maintenance issues or security concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role, preferably in a private household setting.
- Excellent cleaning skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Must be comfortable with background checks and providing references.
