 I am a registered Nurse with an extensive experience in working in Medical-Surgical Ward, gynaecology, psychiatry, emergency wards to mention a few. Rendering total nursing care to the elderly and vulnerable and usually will go above and
beyond the extra mile for my patients. Furthermore, I communicate effectively in written and verbal form, quality compassionate care has always
been my core foundation when patients are left in my care. As a professional, I have developed good work ethics as I always adhere to the
organization values, policies and guidelines.

I have excellent communication skills which aid my interaction with members of the multidisciplinary health team, patients and their relatives and enables me to be a good advocate for my patients.  With good communication skills, I strive to acquaint myself with each patient’s family members and support system to best facilitate an effective long-term care plan that will assist patients on discharge with adequate information and knowledge necessary to maintain their health at home.The skills and qualities I have acquired over the years also includes been competent to deliver patient centered care i.e always putting the patient first at all times, I also possess exceptional interpersonal relationship skill, I am highly motivated and able to motivate people around me, I am proficient in the use of IT packages and databases. Also, I am able to work under pressure at tight deadline.In my last role in the medical ward, I received the most positive patient feedback from my patients and my colleagues will describe me as a good communicator,team worker and someone who delivers outstanding patient care.I am very resourceful and usually will go above and beyond the extra mile for my patients. I currently work as a Nursing Officer in the Otunba Tunwase Children Emergency Ward University College Hospital, Ibadan Oyo State , Nigeria.
My current position in hospital enables me to handle patients with a variety of illnesses using a strong multidisciplinary approach. I work closely with members of the Medical team, Surgical team, physiotherapist, dieticians, orthopedics, pharmacists and haematology in other ensure that patient care is holistic and coordinated.

I have the necessary knowledge of infection control and will apply as necessary to prevent transmission of infections. I have the ability to work cohesively with other members of the health clinical teams knowing that the patient is the Centre.
