I’m Umar Muhammad M, an indigene of Mobbar Local Gov't in Borno State based in Maiduguri. I hold Degree (B.SC) in Biological sciences at the University of Maiduguri, am familiar with the norms, culture and value of the North-Eastern Nigeria; and over 9 years of experience as a IYCF counselor at UNICEF and a Cmam Provider at Action Against Hunger. I have excellent project-management, ability to work under pressure as I maintain accuracy, very rigor and organized; I speak English, Kanuri, Hausa and Shuwa fluently and am also skilful in the use of Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Data entry, Access, outlook and Power Point). I am writing to express my willingness to serve humanity through this respectable organization which i saw advert recently. I have fully enough experience knowledge of routes entire northern and this gives me confidence to apply in this Organization i hope my application would be given utmost consideration and I would welcome the application with you and i look forward to an affirmative response from you. I attached to this application my Curriculum vitae (C.V) all the working experience and years would be seeing through my C.V, I worked for NGO call Chad International Psychosocial support counselor where I coordinate and support the program staff in the implementation of the projecting the target communities, Previously, I have worked with Care For Life Mission in collaboration with  Fhi360 a UNHCR funded project  as Profiler (Data Collector)  for the organization were I profile IDPs using android tablet and screen out survivor of Sexual Gender Base Violence (SGBV) cases for psychosocial support . I have also worked as Facilitator Child Protection in Emergency (CPIE) on OFDA funded Project for Nutrition, WASH & Child Protection where I coordinate and facilitate program implementation through provision of Psychological First Aid (Psychosocial support (PSS) to distress IDPs,  and Children during Child Friendly Space/Psychosocial support (CFS/PSS) for children and adolescents youth  with support from the project coordinator, I also Work closely with community structures to follow up on implementation of Psychosocial support activities through monitoring of protection activities, Collate data’s in accordance with clear directives in order to support program reviews and inform decision-making. I also facilitate sessions during Nutrition support group, CFS/PSS activities, Life skills and other relevant sessions, organized Hygiene promotion Campaign in the communities and Conduct Child Friendly Space/Psychosocial support (CFS/PSS) for children on Child Protection. I have other experiences as detail in my CV that will enable me deliver quality data and program implementation to the organization.
