Olakunle Shogbetun

Olakunle Shogbetun has been a senior Auditor at AO Partners Chartered Accountants since 2020 and he is also an entrepreneur at Ripe Financial Consultant. He received his ACA in Accountancy having passed the qualifying examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 2017. He is also a graduate in Accounting with second class honours from Olabisis Onabanjo University, Nigeria in 2008. He has attain membership status of other professional and educational institute within and outside Nigeria. He worked and impacted knowledge as an instructor/class teacher with Omotayo Schools 2014 - 2017 and Everbright Scholars 2010.

He is a good team player and has contributed to the development of his immediate environment in Community Services, free educational supports to students both at secondary and tertiary level.

Dedicated professional with demonstrated strengths in customer service, time management and trend tracking. Good at troubleshooting problems and building successful solutions. Excellent verbal and written communicator with strong background cultivating positive relationships and exceeding goals and have add 12+ years of experience providing qualitative professional accounting services such as; bookkeeping, Bank Reconciliations, Financial Statement preparation, Audit, Tax management, filling of returns, TCC applications, processing of Acceptances Certificates for qualifying capital expenditures and responding to FIRS and other states Internal Revenue Services' letters and/or queries etc. 

I am familiar with the use of accounting packages like; Quickbooks, Tally, SAGE, WALLPOST (with certification), Ms-Office Suit and Caseware Audit International. I also have certifications in Audit Regulations 2020, Internship in Statistical Consulting, Excess Bank Charges and Entreprenuership Management skill. 

• Member - Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria (CITN) - hope to complete my Direct Membership application before May 2024.
• Associate Chartered Accountants (2017) - Inducted in May 2018 after passing all qualifying examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
• Olabisi Onabanjo University (2008) - Had my first Bachelors degree with Second class Honours in Accounting.
• Awori College Ojo (2000) - Completed my Senior secondary School examinations.
