 I, mr. Okey Ottah Okore is hereby, applying  for the position of an Able Seaman in your well organised company. I'm well experienced Able Seaman with the working experience for more than ten years in the industry at large.for example: i had worked on vessels like: PSV, Multi-purpose, AHTS Vessels.

 I, mr. Okey Ottah Okore is hereby, applying  for the position of an Able Seaman in your well organised company. I'm well experienced Able Seaman with the working experience for more than ten years in the industry at large.for example: i had worked on vessels like: PSV , AHTS And Multi-purposes Vessels.

   My job descriptions on those vessels mentioned above are as follow: (1) I measured depth of water in shallow or unfamiliar areas, using leadline and telephones or even shouts information to bridge. (2) I Stands for Watch at the bow of the vessel or wing of bridge in order to look out for obstruction in path of vessel. (3) I performed general maintenance, repair, sanitation and upkeep of materials and equipment in the deck department. Which also includes maintenance of the vessel metal superstructure such as chipping, scrapping,cleaning, priming and painting. (4) Sometimes, I acts as a Helmsman, that's Steers the vessel and maintains steady course directed by the master or chief officer.(5) I also, maintains ship's log while in port, stands gangway watch in order to prevent unauthorized persons from boarding the vessel. (6) I assisted in performing the tasks of loading and unloading deck cargo (7) I also assisted in handling of mooring line when docking and undocking at the jetty.(8) prepared mooring cable and shackles for Startic Tow and long Tow. And the least but not the last , i have a good communication and signalling skills.I am well Certified Able Seaman.
