I am writing to express my interest in securing the position of an Operations/Facility  manager in your organization 

I came from a solid practical background with a strong interest in business and a passion towards strategy. My 

area of focus and interest varies from quantitative and qualitative approach to facility management. I am 

extremely impressed with great Strategic approach to facility maintenance, especially within the Business

Development and Innovation practice areas. I believe my academic background, business knowledge and

industry experiences have provided me with the credentials needed to thrive as an Operations manager in your

organization.

I have gained solid analytical and problem solving skills while working in 1004 Estates Victoria Island Lagos, 

Nigeria. My background in generating innovative ideas and strategies to improve processes has provided me 

with a deeper understanding of multifaceted problems that companies encounter in their daily operations.

Moreover, because of my work experiences, I fully understand how important it is to have great team dynamics 

in today’s multi-disciplinary business environment.

To date, my experience as an Estate/Facility Manager has been extremely rewarding and productive. However, it is through strategic planning and pro-activeness that I can use my analytical aptitude and creative problem 

solving skills to their fullest. I strongly believe that working in your organization will enable me more, viewproblems not only from the company’s standpoint but also from a market place, best practices and “think out of 

the box” point of views.

Area of competence includes these and among others.

i. Develop and implement a facility management communication plan (messages,reminders,vision

and mission)

ii. Promote facility management information and recommendations to internal and external

stakeholder

iii. Prepare facility management reports.

iv. Manage/Oversee stakeholder perceptions and expectations.

v. Develop emergency management plans and procedures.

vi. Develop, recommend and manage/oversee the facility’s budget.

vii. Administer procurement procedures (For outsourcing, products, services, contractors, etc)

viii. Advocates for facility management needs and priorities

ix. Manage/Oversee the maintenance of building systems, structural element, interiors, exteriors and

grounds.

x. Plan projects (resources, schedule and sequence)

xi. Develop review and compare performance metric for facility management services (benchmarking,

measuring observable behaviours, service response, resolution time, etc.

xii. Collect and verify, analyze and report internal facility management data (utilities, work orders,

work history).

xiii. Vehicle maintenance and fleet management.
