I am a compassionate, enthusiastic and innovative registered nurse who has the perfect combination of dedication, competence, compassion, team spirit, and IT skills required for excellent health care delivery. I have seven years plus few month working experience in diverse hospital settings in Nigeria.

In a bid to work in your Trust, I have commenced the rigorous but rewarding process of my NMC registration. And it is pertinent to note that I have both written and passed the IELTS and CBT examinations. My full registration crystallizes when I write my OSCE exams, and I have the decision letter that states I can proceed with that. I would love to leverage my skills and knowledge to this prestigious institution by putting patients first, rendering quality and safe patient-centered evidence-based care, and respecting their beliefs and values, as well as keeping to professional and organizational standards.

From the experience I have so far as a nursing Officer, I have learnt to effectively manage the available resources effectively, my time and prioritize my workload , which has made me to be able to work under pressure in a busy and fast-paced environment. I have also gained proficient communication skills, both written and verbal communications, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and respectful manner while maintaining good interpersonal relationship with both patients and multidisciplinary team members.

Also, I have great skill in record keeping, detailed reports of all patients and documentation of all care rendered, procedures and medications. In addition, I am competent in making great decisions, good leadership and I hold patients confidentiality in high value. I had computer training alongside my education thereby making me grounded in the use of Electronic Medical Record and the use of Msword, excel etc.

In my past and current role as a nursing officer, i have great experience working in medical and surgical unit, with various specialties, such as cardiovascular, endocrine, respiratory, heamatology, reproductive, GIT and also attending to medical-surgical emergencies such as severe surgical site bleeding, hypoglycemia, sickle cell crises, cardiac arrest, shock, sickle cell crisis, hypertensive emergencies and urgency.
