Am a nurse by profession, that have experience of working with medecins sans frontiers (MSF Spain) .since July 2022 at zurmi Zamfara State. 

Providing quality care for Ambulatory therapeutic feeding center (ATFC)
• Provide medical care to in-Patient therapeutic Feeding Center (ITFC).
• As OPD Nurse clinician ensuring the triage of patients in waiting areas or emergencies,
• prescribe medications and refer Severe Acute Malnourished and IPD cases to ITFC or IPD.
• Provide clinical management for both Pediatric and Adult In-Patient Department(IPD)
• Ensure quality and timely identification and treatment of medical complications associated with malnutrition in SC or IPD in liaison with the clinical services.
• Participate in daily ward rounds in the Stabilization Centre, Pediatric & Adult IPD ward with the medical team.
• Prepare for and assist the doctors during the rounds and whenever required.
• Ensure that all required observations, prescribed treatment and procedures are properly carried out and documented on patient’s charts.
• Arrange and submit weekly ward work schedule and plan daily duties and responsibilities for reporting staff.
• Maintain equipment in good condition and submit regular inventory report of the same.
• Maintain drug registers and drug consumption within the ward level in collaboration with the pharmacy department.
• Ensure that all admissions, discharges, transfers and deaths are properly recorded as they occur.
• Ensure the establishment of nutrition monitoring activities and train health staff in case detection and referral system.
• Monitor therapeutic Feeds and ensure that children get 3 hourly therapeutic feeds as required.
• Ensure timely reporting in accordance with set deadlines.
• Improve the provision of quality nutrition counseling in the hospital.
• First contact trauma care- suturing, dressing, involved in referral to ICRC for continues care. 

Diploma in Nursing Sciences
