About CHIOMA OME:

I am a Development leader with 12+ years of experience advancing gender-inclusive economic growth, clean energy access, and climate resilience across Africa. I specialize in scaling market-based solutions that strengthen women-led enterprises and last-mile communities. As Country Director, I have led programs supporting 3,500+ women-owned clean energy businesses across 30 states, integrating GESI, Market Systems Development, and strategic partnerships to drive systemic impact. I bring executive leadership experience in strategy, policy engagement, multi-stakeholder coordination, and cross-country program management. I am passionate about unlocking women’s economic power as a catalyst for sustainable development and energy transition. 

I also serve as Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Alliance for Clean Cooking and  a former Executive Member of the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN), bringing executive experience in strategy, policy advocacy, and multi-stakeholder engagement to drive systemic impact and sustainable development.
