My name is Engr. Auwal Abdulrazak Ibrahim, a COREN-certified Electrical Engineer with a strong background in audit, compliance, and technical operations. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and currently serve as a Regional Technical Auditor with the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC), where I ensure process integrity, regulatory compliance, and technical efficiency across multiple business hubs.

Over the years, I have developed broad expertise that cuts across technical audit, risk management, internal control, and operational compliance. I am also a holder of several professional certifications, including the NECA’s Global Internal Audit Certificate, Certified Chief Compliance Officer, Certified Procurement Manager, Certified Strategic Business Administration Officer, and Certified ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Associate, among others.

I am a COREN-certified Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in technical auditing, compliance, and operational risk management within the power sector. I currently serve as a Regional Technical Auditor with the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC), where I oversee technical and audit-related interventions to ensure process efficiency, regulatory compliance, and accountability across multiple business hubs.

Prior to joining IBEDC, I worked with Huawei Technologies Ltd as a Passive Network Engineer, where I managed full MTN site maintenance, coordinated field teams, and implemented effective strategies to curb theft and improve system reliability.

My professional background combines engineering expertise with strong analytical, investigative, and leadership skills, enabling me to assess technical operations, identify control gaps, and recommend practical solutions that enhance performance and compliance.

I also hold certifications in Internal Audit, Compliance, Procurement Management, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, and Strategic Business Administration, among others — which have broadened my capacity to drive integrity and operational excellence in every assignment.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where I developed a solid foundation in electrical systems design, power distribution, and technical problem-solving.
