Aondover Iorahungwa

A budding scholar in search of opportunity to fully launch himself into the academic world; his academic exploits, seeing in the books and scholarly works, which he has produced for non-promotion purposes, attest to the strength of his academic potentiality. Accomplished administrator, he was twice appointed to the position of the Secretary to Makurdi Local Government in Benue State, Nigeria. Was a School administrator for two decades plus in an institution of higher learning – at Akperan Orshi Polytechnic, Yandev Gboko. In all of these, he made groundbreaking contributions to the progress of the organizations he worked. His experience makes him employable in an academic or administrative position. A team player, but requires no supervision to excel in performing tasks assigned to him.

• Liaise on behalf of the Chairman with the employees of the Local Government
• Liaise on behalf of the Chairman with the Legislative Council
• Liaise with the Secretary to the State Government and other necessary functionaries on state-Local Government matters.

Feb 1981-Oct 2006:    In Civil Service, the summit was the Position of Assistant Registrar, Akperan Orshi Polytechnic, Yandev, Gboko                       

• Responsible to the Deputy Registrar (Academics) for the day-to-day administration of the Division.
• Coordinate the sale and retrieval of admission forms and processing of same for conduct of admission by the Academic Board 
• Assist the Deputy Registrar in the coordination of the functions of the Division.
• In charge of students records
• Processing clearance of final year students leaving the Polytechnic
• Safe keeping and issuance of all Polytechnic statement of results, academic transcripts and certificates
• Recorder to admission committee
• Recorder to academic Board meetings
