Andrew Ndudi Efomah

I am passionate about using data analytics techniques to discover patterns in raw data and derive valuable insights through visualizations and creating machine learning models. I am very knowledgeable in the use of SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, HTML and CSS.

1. Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 

2. Six years work experience (2012-2018) as an Agricultural Research Engineer at Desfabeng Company Limited Bida, Niger State., where I was involved in the conversion of agricultural wastes into domestic fuels using briquetting technology and anaerobic digestion coupled with writing and publication of journal papers on experimental discoveries. I made use of Python in building machine learning Models for Agricultural and Environmental Processes. 

3. Between 2018 and 2020, I led a team of Geologists in the collection, cleaning, analysis and visualization of large datasets from Wuqi Oilfield in China where prospecting of unconventional oil is been carried out. 

4. While taking a certification course in Data Science (2022 – 2023), I Performed Exploratory Data Analysis and prediction of house prices in Mexico and Brazil using various Python libraries such as numpy, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn and Sklearn. 

5. Between 2020 and 2023, I work as a Graduate Research Analyst at Tianjin Key Lab of Biomass/Wastes Utilization where I am saddled with the responsibility of querying and transformation of complex environmental datasets using SQL and Python to gain insights; as well as training and comparing machine learning models to predict environmental pollution.

1. Certification in Applied Data Science, WorldQuant University, New Orleans, LA, USA. December 2022 - May 2023 ● Performed Exploratory Data Analysis and prediction of house prices in Mexico and Brazil using various Python libraries such as numpy, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn and Sklearn. Performed a randomized train-test split; built a logistic regression model.
