As Group Internal Audit & compliance Officer

Where  my responsibility were as following,

I review and signed of material requisition (LPOs): These are to be reviewed for management approval

I do a market survey in other to do price comparison between different vendors. I also,review and endorse monthly retirement and reimbursement

I sign off on the invoice after a satisfactory review,

I do a frequent surprise check on petty cash.

Inspection of monthly consumables procurement and distributions to various site,review and endorsement of monthly payroll for all the subsidiaries and the group

I have worked  in Olofinluyi somo & co (Chartered Accountants) as Audit senior,

Where I perform the following functions:

Preparation of audit planning in line with the peculiarities of the such company

Preparation and procure certificate of acceptance for fixed asset from federal ministry of trade and investment

Evaluate the financial statement prepared by the accountant to test the accuracy of the figures presented and to ensure they are in accordance with GAAP and applicable standards.

I’ve worked in Auxano Solar Energy as assistant account/ inventory officer

Where I introduced the use of bin card for accurate records of stock, I also bring in the use of requisition form for raw material insurance, Furthermore  I prepared cost estimation for management.

I have worked as an Accountant/ inventory manager in Amaget stores limited, where I prepared proper reconciliation of all accounts and consistent in stock taking. 

I have worked with Larose / cloud microfinance bank as an account manager, where I was responsible for the preparation of staff payroll, pension and tax return. 

I have also worked in pacific energy company ltd as an Account Officer. As an account officer, I join my team to prepare financial statements, preparation of bank reconciliation statement and remittance of staff PAYE to LIRS to mention but a few. I Have also worked in a microfinance bank as a marketing and cashier officer, where I was responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activity, supporting the marketing manager in day to day activities, contribute to annual sales and marketing plan.

Currently, I am working with olofinluyi somo & co chartered accountants as Audit Senior. Where I oversee audit of client financial statements from initiation to completion. I communicate my findings to engagement partner for prompt rectification.

I feel that a combination of my professional experience, Bachelor of Management and accounting Degree, Higher National Diploma in accounting and strong organization skills, also my passion to work in an audit firm could allow me to make a valuable contribution to our firm and still hungry for learning.
