Abiodun Akintola

I am an individual with an excellent command of the written and spoken English. I am flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities at the same time. All of this makes me believe that I would be a strong candidate for the Internship Programme. As a driven individual who wants to progress, I am now looking to work in an energetic and performance driven environment where talent is not overlooked. I have a 9 years’ experience in Microfinance Banking and I feel your forward thinking and existing organization is a natural place for a hard working team player like me who is fully accountable and resilient.

I am a graduate of Accounting from Cresent University, Abeokuta with a 2nd class upper division; I also have a National and Higher Diploma in Accountancy from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta

In 2014, I got into Astra Polaris Microfinance bank as an Industrial Training student.  I did not have any experience as at that time, all I was there to do was to learn and train.

I performed the role of a Teller , I was into cash payment and receipt. It was a very interesting one because it went in line with what I was studying in school

After the Industrial training, I decided to quit my career job and go back to the School to further my education 

In 2015, i joined Astra Polaris again. I performed the role of a credit officer, which includes Marketing of loan products, loan packaging, disbursement ,loan repayment collection, and the recovery aspect of it.

In 2018, I completed my Microfinance certification Programme

In 2022, I became a Branch Development Manager who oversees all the activities and target achievement of the branch.
