Under the supervision of ATO Nutrition support the care of SAM children with complications at the stabilization center
Administer therapeutic feeds, medications and routine checking of vital signs of admitted cases
Supervise MUAC screening and participate in out-patient therapeutic program
Strengthening of community feedback system
Support and counsel mothers on good IYCF practices during their stay in the facility
Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Position: Nurse Assistant
Organization: Family Health International (FHI360) Ngala LGA, Borno State.
Giving comprehensive nursing care in the OPD/IPD to patients using the available resources and refer patients as required
Conducting dressings and injections using aseptic technique
Preparing for and be ready for the ward rounds as per daily schedule
Managing the patients in conformity with the prescription from the TO/ATO-PHC doctor.
Understanding the prescription and discuss necessary changes with the TO/ATO-PHC doctor before administration.
Collecting data from your department and transfer information for compilation.
Reporting daily activities from the community or health post where applicable.
Familiarize and support the Assistant Technical Officer in developing departmental reports.
Ensuring timely and appropriate drug administration of essential drugs to the patients.
Actively participate in educative/administrative medical meetings in the clinic
Participating in disease surveillance team meetings and activities
Carrying out public health intervention in outbreaks e.g., measles, cholera, diarrhea diseases and other communicable diseases
Taking charge of health care facility in absence of ATOs.
Other duties as assigned.
