    Description

    YOUR ROLE

    • Reporting to the Creative Director/Senior Art Director, you will be responsible for originating, creating, and delivering outstanding creative concepts that carry through from idea to final execution across the plethora of modern digital and native channels. Working in concert with a copywriter, you can bring complex creative ideas to life, confidently present them, and effectively deliver in a coordinated way and at a very high level of quality.
    • You are required to have an excellent work ethic - superior critical thinking, communication, and writing skills. The expectation is for you to be able to prioritize between several different tasks at once.
    • You love learning about and sharing new & and innovative organizational tools, technology, and systems. You're a self-starter, can effectively set priorities and people love to work with you.
    • You help to keep your team inspired and productive, ensuring that the output of business-critical units enhances our reputation, contributes to our bottom line, and delivers business results.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Utilize proven art skills and experience to create and implement new projects
    • Collaborate with designers and other team members to implement creative direction
    • Work independently to create initial drawings, storyboards, or architectural designs for art spaces
    • Communicate with local officials, news organizations and the community to create interest in upcoming initiatives
    • Work with clients to design and create projects as needed
    • Execute an assigned project from concept to final execution within the deadlines

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
    • Proven experience 3+ years working as an Art Director or in a similar creative role, preferably in an advertising agency, design studio, or marketing department.
    • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, as well as familiarity with motion graphics and video editing tools.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects, including branding, advertising campaigns, digital experiences, and multimedia content.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire and motivate creative teams, foster innovation, and drive results.
    • Keen attention to detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance creative vision with business objectives.
