    Interior Designer

    Join Eko Maintenance as a skilled Interior Designer and contribute to the creation of exceptional living spaces.

    About the Role

    • Design Guidance: Provide expert advice on design options, materials, and furnishings to clients.
    • Space Planning: Create layouts to maximize space and functionality while adhering to design requirements. Coordinate structural elements such as walls and flooring to align with the client's vision. Ensure designs comply with building codes and safety standards.
    • Design Conceptualization: Develop design concepts and visual presentations to help clients envision the final look. Utilize tools like CAD or design software to create 2D/3D renderings of proposed designs.
    • Material and Color Selection: Recommend furniture, fixtures, lighting, and materials that align with the design concept. Assist clients in selecting color schemes, textures, and overall palette.
    • Project Coordination: Oversee contractors, electricians, painters, and other trades involved in the project. Ensure the design is executed according to the plan. Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed. Incorporate client feedback and make adjustments to the design as requested. Present the final design upon completion and ensure client satisfaction.

    Key Skills

    • Design Software: Proficiency in design software (CAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
    • Color Theory and Materials: Strong knowledge of color theory, lighting, and materials
    • Communication and Project Management: Excellent communication and project management skills
    • Creativity and Attention to Detail: Creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
    • Building Codes and Regulatory Standards: Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree: Diploma in interior design or Bachelor's degree in any related field
    • Professional Certification: Professional certification may be required
    • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a design-related role
