Role Overview

We're looking for a passionate and visionary AI Tech Lecturer to join our volunteer faculty network. You'll play a vital role in helping young African innovators master AI tools and lead with integrity, empathy, and excellence.

As a Lecturer, you'll teach, mentor, and guide learners across multiple tracks — from AI for Business and Design to Prompt Engineering and Policy. You'll bring the subject to life, and the future into reach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live remote lectures on AI topics including prompting, automation, machine learning, ethics, and innovation
• Facilitate hands-on learning experiences, workshops, case studies, and project reviews
• Mentor students through their AI learning journey and career pathways
• Collaborate with our curriculum and leadership teams to improve learning impact
• Champion African values of leadership, service, innovation, and impact

Ideal Qualifications

• Good expertise in AI, Machine Learning, AI Tools, LLMs, Automation, AI Agetns, Data Science and more (academic or industry experience)
• Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or speaking in tech, bootcamps, or academic settings
• Excellent leadership skills rooted in integrity, empathy, patriotism, and Pan-African values
• Clear, engaging communication skills (English required)
• Comfortable using virtual platforms (Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, Google Docs, Notion)
• Experience leading or contributing to AI-related products, research, or innovation (a plus)
