    National Sales and Growth Manager

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced National Sales and Growth Manager to lead our Sales and Distribution team. This role is critical in driving sales growth, expanding market share, and overseeing the strategic direction of our Enterprise FMCGS&P business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Objectives: Define the objectives for the successful rollout of existing business services, including setting direction for new business opportunities such as Telco Services, Payments Services, and E-commerce Products and Services.
    • Growth and Performance Targets: Develop, approve, and implement MoM, QoQ, and YoY growth targets and strategies.
    • KPI Development: Create KPIs covering business operations and admirable revenue targets.
    • Business Growth Strategies: Develop required strategies to grow the Business Operations Unit (BOU), implement stated strategies, and set up frameworks needed to onboard external investments and investors.
    • Performance Measurement: Develop Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) to measure transactional and financial performance of related BOU using automation with existing tools or recommend new tools as required.
    • Team Management: Manage diverse cross-functional teams, create an open feedback culture, and help develop a framework for B2B engagement for successful delivery and business performance of the given BOU – Retailers, Dealers, Sales Agents etc.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Channel Partner Network: Build and manage a significant channel partner network utilizing dealers/franchisees and key retail outlets to drive market penetration.
    • Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in line with company goals.
    • Territory Sales and Marketing Strategies: Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies.
    • New Business Opportunities: Identify new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and expand market penetration.
    • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and distribution team to ensure optimal performance.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with sales processes, policies, and industry regulations.
    • Sales Targets: Set realisable sales targets and effective monitoring policies to drive team performance.
    • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop competitive strategies.
    • Business Performance Reports: Develop business performance reports outlining business performance status at any given instance.
    • Periodic Audits: Implement periodic business performance reports (audit) and provide recommendations for better performance.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: Senior Sales Manager with at least 5-7 years sales experience in FMCG products and services, hands-on management experience.
    • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and leading high-performing sales teams.
    • FMCG Knowledge: Strong knowledge of FMCG sales strategies, distribution channels, and market dynamics.
    • Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights.
    • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
    • Education: BSc/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools, sales forecasting, and reporting systems.
