A key role for a Business Development Manager (Deposit Mobilization) involves promoting the company's financial offerings, securing deposit funds, and building relationships with key institutional and retail clients across Lagos and Abuja.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion the deposit mobilization drive, targeting high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients, and retail markets.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve deposit growth targets.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for low-to-medium-cost deposits to fund the company's assets.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and manage strong relationships with institutional and retail clients to secure new deposit mandates.
• Monitor client satisfaction to ensure superior service delivery and retention.

Sales Activities and Market Engagement

• Execute sales activities, including client presentations, campaigns, and roadshows, to drive deposit growth.
• Represent the company at networking events and industry forums to expand market presence.

Key Decision-Maker Engagement

• Engage with decision-makers within target organizations to establish strategic partnerships and secure deposit mandates.

Financial Expertise and Industry Awareness

• Stay updated on financial market trends and the competitive landscape to position offerings effectively.

Requirements

• Experience Level: 5–7 years of relevant experience in deposit mobilization, preferably in digital banking or financial services.
• Educational Qualification: First degree (minimum Second-Class Lower) from a reputable institution.
• Professional Certifications: Possession of certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CIS, CFA, or an MBA will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated Success: Demonstrated success in achieving deposit mobilization targets and building strong client relationships.
