Account Receivable Specialist - Lagos, Nigeria - BlueChip Communications Limited

Description

Responsibilities:

• Generate
  and distribute accurate and timely invoices to customers
  
• Monitor
  accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments
  
• Communicate
  with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and facilitate prompt
  payment
  
• Reconcile
  accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy
  
• Collaborate
  with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues
  
• Prepare
  and analyze reports to track receivables performance and identify trends
  
• Assist
  in month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes
  
• Stay
  up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable

  Requirements:
  • Bachelor's
    degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
    
  • Proven
    experience in accounts receivable or related financial role
    
  • Strong
    understanding of accounting principles and practices
    
  • Proficiency
    in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
    
  • Excellent
    communication and interpersonal skills
    
  • Ability
    to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
    
  • Detail-oriented
    with a high level of accuracy
    
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving skills
    
  • Experience
    working in Telecoms is a plus
