    Description

    Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to define project requirements and establish project goals.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution. Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations as necessary to optimize project performance and meet project milestones.
  • Budget Management: Develop project budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with the finance team. Monitor project costs, expenditures, and revenue streams to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Schedule Management: Create project schedules and timelines, identifying critical path activities and dependencies. Monitor project progress and milestones, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays or issues to ensure timely project completion.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including safety hazards, regulatory compliance issues, and external factors that may impact project delivery. Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans to minimize project disruptions and liabilities.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and standards to ensure construction activities meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to monitor workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and issues, facilitating open communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle. Implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for project personnel and mitigate safety risks.

    Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry, managing commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
