    Description

    Responsibilities:

  • Generate and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain records of all invoices and monitor outstanding payments.
  • Manage banking activities including deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure timely payment.
  • Assess and manage credit risk.
  • Implement credit control policies and procedures to minimize bad debts.
  • Process payroll accurately and in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure timely payment of salaries and benefits.
  • Preparation of Accounts:
  • Prepare Monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and variances.
  • Assist in the development of monthly budgets.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide analysis to support decision-making.


    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5 years experience as an Accountant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
  • Must be based on or close to the Island and available to work 5 days a week.

  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.

  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
