Role Overview
This is a full-time hybrid Analyst role based in Ikoyi, Lagos with partial work-from-home flexibility. We are seeking a detail-oriented and insightful Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will identify, analyze business and financial data, research trends in industries, global markets and macro-economic environments, and develop reports presenting insights to enhance decision-making and support strategy execution.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze industrial and financial market data, including equities, bonds, commodities, and currencies
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to identify local and global market trends and economic opportunities
- Prepare detailed reports and forecasts based on market data, economic indicators, and geopolitical events
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop financial strategies and support with providing transactional financial advisory services
- Stay updated on industry news, regulations, and global economic developments
- Prepare presentations and resource materials on financial markets topics, including market structure, treasury management, risk management, financial policies etc.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and clients.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or any relevant field
- 1 - 3 years work experience
- Basic understanding of local and global economic and financial landscapes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including some experience in financial market analysis, investment research or financial modelling (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in communication and report writing, enabling clear presentation of insights to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools; knowledge of business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data.
