Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organized Admin Officer to serve as the first point of contact for customers visiting or contacting the company.
Beyond managing reception duties, the ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating front-desk activities, ensuring smooth order processing, maintaining accurate records and supporting operational efficiency across the store.
This role requires someone who can combine excellent customer service with strong coordination, accountability and administrative oversight to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesWelcome and attend to customers professionally, both in person and via phone or digital channels.
Provide clear information regarding products, services, pricing and ongoing orders.
Receive and document customer orders for shoemaking and repair services with accuracy and attention to detail.
Process payments (cash, POS, transfers) securely and issue receipts accordingly.
Monitor and track customer orders from intake to delivery, ensuring timely updates and follow-ups.
Maintain accurate daily records of sales, payments and front desk transactions.
Coordinate with craftsmen and store staff to confirm job timelines, completion status and quality checks before customer notification.
Ensure proper documentation and updating of order logs, customer records and service reports.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area that reflects the company's brand standards.
Manage incoming calls, messages and correspondence promptly and effectively.
Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry and report preparation.
Identify and escalate unresolved customer concerns where necessary, while ensuring appropriate follow-through.
Assist in maintaining structure and order within front-desk operations to support smooth daily workflow.
Undertake other tasks as assigned by management to ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
HND or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Customer Relations or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a front desk, customer service, administrative or retail coordination role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of organization, accountability and ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic digital tools.
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and oversee transaction records with integrity.
Professional appearance and customer-friendly disposition.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Demonstrated reliability and ability to take ownership of tasks.
