JOB SUMMARY

Job Requirements At least 2 years of prior experience in teaching Music. Bachelor's degree in Music. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Determined and dependable. Passionate about music.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description Plans and implements the lesson plan. Developing and implementing student-centered curricula. Records student grades and attendance. Staying up-to-date on musical trends and changes in technology. Teach students how to play musical instruments, read music, and understand music theory. Lead ensemble groups, such as choirs, orchestras, and marching bands. Grades written and practical examinations. Encouraging creative expression through music. Organizing and leading music-related field trips.
