**Spiritual Growth and Development Leader**
The ideal candidate will guide the spiritual growth and development of the church community.
This includes leading discipleship programs, organizing spiritual retreats, and providing pastoral care to foster a sense of belonging among congregation members.
**Leadership Responsibilities:**
* Develop plans, objectives, programs, and processes for Ministry and Maturity teams, ensuring effective coordination and efficient execution.
* Foster the growth, development, management, and expansion of the volunteer workforce, creating serving opportunities and deploying them to fill positions.
**Strategy and Systems:**
* Develop and implement strategies, structures, systems, and processes that enable all-round growth of team members, promoting departmental small groups within the workforce.
* Collaborate with the Small Groups Coordinator to achieve set goals and maintain a viable, vibrant, and enviable workforce.
**Execution and Supervision:**
* Coordinate activities of Maturity and Ministry teams by providing guidance and direction, including yearly planning and presiding at meetings.
* Continuously evaluate results and strategies to deliver on team objectives, facilitating the submission of reports from subordinate offices to the Director Church Ministry.
* Maintain and update the workforce database, ensuring accurate records.
**People Discovery and Development:**
* Discover, train, and deploy new members to serve in the church, conducting periodic performance checks and managing people issues.
* Develop leaders through training and deployment, leveraging skills such as conflict resolution and time management.
**Competency and Skill Requirements:**
Academic Qualification and Work Experience:
Personal Skills:
* Bachelor's degree recommended
* Minimum 5-7 years' work experience, preferably in a similar environment
* Must have worked in a managerial role
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms
* A committed born-again Christian, with a personal and active relationship with God
* Excellent conflict resolution skills
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Effective, collaborative team leader who can mobilize and bring out the best in their team
* Self-starter
* Good supervisory, coaching, and mentoring skills
* Understanding of administration and time management principles
* Experienced budget holder, able to work within budgetary constraints
