    JOB SUMMARY

    Requirements Bachelor's Eegree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 27 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a heavy industry. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proven ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies. Good understanding of safety and environmental regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks. Proficiency in maintenance management software is a plus.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Chief General Manager of Maintenance to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within the Dangote Cement Plc. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of maintenance practices, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of effectively managing maintenance operations.Duties Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of equipment. Manage and supervise a team of maintenance professionals, including technicians, engineers, and support staff. Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and availability of machinery. Coordinate with other departments to optimize maintenance schedules and minimize production interruptions. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics and implement improvements as needed. Oversee the maintenance budget and control costs while maximizing productivity. Stay up-to-date with advancements in maintenance technology and recommend innovative solutions to enhance maintenance processes.
