JOB SUMMARY
Requirements University Degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's Degree from a recognized University will be an advantage. Member of professional associations in CompTIA Network+, Microsoft and Linux Professional IT Certifications such as, MCS, Red Hat is an added advantage At least 2 years of relevant experience in Server infrastructure design, implementation, and management. Experience in designing and implementing IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, cloud, networks, storage systems, and virtualization platforms. Proficiency in managing and maintaining server operating systems, such as Windows Server or Linux, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. An understanding of LAN/WAN networking. Hand on Experience with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including infrastructure deployment, migration, and management.How to ApplyInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to: the provided email address using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing project and systems support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence, over the phone, via remote access and in person. Contribute to team discussions to help shape and further improve the service. Administer and support core Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, Cloud, and virtualization technologies. Engage in the evaluation, implementation, configuration and testing of new servers, products and services. Assist with additional configuration, integration, and improvements to existing IT services. Assist with the deployment of OS and application updates to Windows clients, including pre- deployment research and testing. Assist with server backup monitoring and verification. Assist in the patching and updating of allocated Windows and Linux server systems, Adobe Update, Security Updates, Firm ware updates etc. Assist with deploying new equipment, software and solutions (and repurposing of existing equipment) for Infrastructure Projects.
