    Description

    Responsible for operating company vehicles to transport goods, equipment or personnel. This includes tasks like safe driving, route planning, vehicle maintenance and adhering to company policies and regulations.

    Knowledge/Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    Skills: Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and vehicle maintenance, interpersonal skills, communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, time management and ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.

    Ability to plan time-efficient routes to avoid traffic congestion. Minimum 5 years driving experience

    Main Duties:

    To operate company vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks or buses to transport materials, goods, personnel to various locations.

    To plan efficient routes considering traffic conditions and delivery requirements to minimize travel time.

    To ensure the safe transportation of goods and passengers, following proper procedures and handling techniques.

    To conduct pre and post-trip vehicles inspections, performing routine maintenance and reporting any issues.

    To provide a high level of customer service and to communicate effectively with client, sub-contractors, suppliers and colleagues.

    To communicate effectively with management or clients regarding deliveries or any issues that may arise.

    To adhere to traffic laws, regulations and company policies related to safety, seat belt usage and cell phone usage.

    To maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance.

    To ensure continuous learning and development (learning targets to be set with evidence of acquisition)

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: ₦120, ₦150,000.00 per month

    Ability to commute/relocate:

    • Lekki: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

    Experience:

    • driving: 3 years (Preferred)
