- Assist the HoR and Technology Manager in the Implementation and track the VAR and football Technology strategic plan.
- Assist with the elaboration, planning, and conduct of the annual Referees VAR and all activities related to Football technology
- Help in developing the procedures for training, analyses of all matches, and referees match situations in competitions; this includes evaluating and following up with the referees, Assessors, and Instructors.
- Assist in Referees VARs, AVARs and ROs qualifications and all approval plan and process.
- Assist in the FIFA IAAP platform, adding editing and creating any new task on it and follow up all processes.
- Prepare and handle all VAR teaching materials for CAF Referees and any other support material for VAR.
- Enhance the Refereeing Development tools: Teaching Material, Courses, MAs contents and VAR courses.
- Prepare any material to develop the teaching in all Members associations and Zonal unions.
- Assist in all VAR related matters for all CAF, MAs, and Zonal activities and competitions.
- Assist the department in all administrative matters, specifically in preparations for any Events Requests, Tenders, Evaluation, Courses preparation, Competitions, etc..
- Update requests and information for all referees, assessors, and any other persons involved with refereeing in CAF platform and/or FIFA platform.
- Support Football Technology VAR. GPS, Communications, Watches, Witte system, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or equivalent is a must.
- Additional Studies in Football ex: FIFA Masters, etc. is an advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience in VAR, TV, or any related field as well as at least 1 year of experience as a Team Leader.
- Expert in VAR Technology servers, system setup, RRA, simulator, etc., production field and Referees communication Technology.
- Fluent in English and/or French language both written and spoken is a must; command of any other CAF language English, French & Arabic language is an advantage.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and other modern IT tools.
- Good communication skills, leadership skills, and ability to work under stress, and in a fast-paced environment.
