JOB SUMMARY
Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the publishing industry or a related field. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of the Lagos market and existing networks within the publishing industry is a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate leads and drive sales of the company's publications, including books, magazines, and digital content. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including bookstores, educational institutions, and individual customers. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company's market presence. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and trends. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value of the company's products and services. Negotiate terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
