    Description

    Responsibilities:

  • Mixing Drinks: Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages such as bubble teas, Chapman, smoothies, and milkshakes.
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to customers, taking orders, suggesting drinks, and engaging in conversation.
  • Menu Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the establishment's drink menu, ingredients, and specials, and help customers make informed choices.
  • Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Compliance: Adhere to legal and safety regulations, including checking IDs to verify the legal drinking age and preventing overconsumption.
  • Problem-Solving: Address customer concerns or complaints tactfully and promptly, striving to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Entertainment: Engage customers by providing entertainment, such as preparing drinks with flair, performing tricks, or participating in themed events.

    Requirements:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in bartending or the hospitality industry is mandatory
  • Skills: Proficiency in mixing drinks, knowledge of drink recipes, and the ability to create new and innovative cocktails. Good memory and multitasking skills are essential.
  • Physical Stamina: Bartenders are often on their feet for long periods, requiring physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, especially during peak hours and busy shifts.
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude and willingness to work alongside other staff members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in measuring ingredients, garnishing drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
  • The candidate must be of sound mind and sound health
  • The candidate must be willing and ready to unlearn and relearn
  • Must be able to take corrections
  • Must be looking at long term work

    Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday - 8:30 am to 9:00 pm
  • Saturdays - 9:30 am to 9:00 pm
  • Sunday - 11:30 am-noon to 9:00 pm
  • 2 days off between Monday to Thursday


    Remuneration: NGN 70,000 naira
